Thanks I found the one by Kperrotton and Graeme on the DWMG yahoo group in the files and picture section. For the APC they appear to have used a Shado from the old UFO show possibly by Dinky?
How many players were in the game? I was thinking I might use this for a convention game for 6 to 8 players so may need to run it on a 4' x 6' table rather than 4' x 4'. Thanks, Brian
Thanks, would that be the Doctor Who FASA Temporal Marauders? I see Wargames Supply Dump (WSD) makes some League of Nations Space Navy Troopers that might also work.
Only problem is when you place the WSD figures next to the FASA ones the latter look really small, like children almost. Perhaps I will make the FASA group a “Cadet squad”.
Jungle sections are expanded polystyrene glued to CDs and then cut/sanded to shape. The pods were bought from IKEA years ago. They unfortunately dried out after I didn't store them properly! I've never seen them anywhere else but I'm guessing there's probably some website somewhere for dried flower arranging or similar.
Looks like an interesting game. Woudl you be able to post the scenario for Planet of the Daleks?
ReplyDeleteThe scenario is Rumble in the Jungle which is in the Giles section of the Doctor Who Miniatures Game Yahoo group.

ReplyDeleteThanks,

I played it with 4
ReplyDeleteThanks, still can't find a map for this scenario?

Which figures did you use for the Thals?
ReplyDeleteThey are the very old FASA figures. Can't remember exactly what they were called now. They occasionally crop up on eBay.

ReplyDeleteYes, I think you're right and I have some of those WSD figures too. Ideal for Who astronauts of various types.

DeleteWhat did you mount your jungle sections on?
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the cool looking spiked pod plants?

ReplyDeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteWere there any opportunities for the Doctor to use the inventions rule?
The Master got to use the invent ability and it tipped the balance.
